PARALAJE No. 2 | FINE ART · BLANCO Y NEGRO
Para su segundo número, PARALAJE abre una convocatoria internacional dedicada a la fotografía fine-art en blanco y negro.
Buscamos series fotográficas que exploren la imagen más allá de lo puramente descriptivo: trabajos donde la luz, la sombra, la forma, el cuerpo, el espacio, la memoria, la intimidad o la abstracción construyan un lenguaje visual propio.
Nos interesan propuestas personales y coherentes, capaces de sostener una mirada a través de una serie. No buscamos una estética específica ni una definición cerrada de fine art. Queremos descubrir diferentes maneras de pensar, construir y experimentar la fotografía en blanco y negro.
La convocatoria está abierta a fotógrafos de cualquier país, trayectoria y edad.
ENVÍOS
Cada propuesta deberá incluir:
— Una serie de 4 a 8 fotografías en blanco y negro.
— Título de la serie.
— Breve texto o statement sobre el proyecto.
— Breve biografía del autor/a.
— Ciudad y país de residencia.
— Sitio web y/o Instagram, si corresponde.
Las imágenes pueden haber sido realizadas mediante cualquier proceso fotográfico: fotografía digital, película, procesos alternativos o técnicas experimentales.
SELECCIÓN
Las series seleccionadas formarán parte de PARALAJE No. 2 — October 2026, en sus ediciones impresa y digital.
La selección estará basada en la fuerza visual de las imágenes, la coherencia de la serie y la singularidad de la propuesta.
PARALAJE se reserva el derecho de realizar una selección editorial final de las fotografías que integrarán cada serie publicada.
La participación en esta convocatoria es gratuita.

PARALAJE No. 2 | FINE ART · BLACK & WHITE
For its second issue, PARALAJE launches an international open call dedicated to black-and-white fine art photography.
We are looking for photographic series that explore the image beyond the purely descriptive—works in which light, shadow, form, the body, space, memory, intimacy, or abstraction come together to create a distinctive visual language.
We are interested in personal and cohesive projects capable of sustaining a point of view throughout a series. We are not looking for a specific aesthetic or a fixed definition of fine art. We want to discover different ways of thinking about, constructing, and experimenting with black-and-white photography.
The open call is open to photographers of all nationalities, backgrounds, ages, and levels of experience.
SUBMISSIONS
Each submission must include:
— A series of 4 to 8 black-and-white photographs.
— Title of the series.
— A brief project statement.
— A short artist biography.
— City and country of residence.
— Website and/or Instagram, if applicable.
Images may be created using any photographic process, including digital photography, film, alternative processes, or experimental techniques.
SELECTION
Selected series will be featured in PARALAJE Vol. 2 — October 2026, in both its print and digital editions.
Selections will be based on the visual strength of the images, the coherence of the series, and the distinctiveness of the photographic approach.
PARALAJE reserves the right to make the final editorial selection of images from each selected series for publication.
There is no submission fee.
